Welcome to Homer Little League’s Spring 2019 registration. Homer Little League (HLL) offers online registration through Active League One, the official online league management provider of Little League® Baseball. Online registration has a secure payment process and allows you the flexibility to register whenever convenient for you. Please note that if you wish to pay by check or cash, you can register online and bring payment to one of the in-person document verification sessions below.

The online registration process eliminates the need to provide documentation in person. All new players are required to provide a completed school enrollment form (download provided below). Please complete the first section and signature section of the school enrollment formHLL representatives will work with the school to complete the school administrator section of the form. Please bring the form to one of the registration dates below.

Tuesday, February 26th 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. @ Homer Intermediate School Cafeteria
Monday, March 4th 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. @ Homer Intermediate School Cafeteria

Additionally, new players are required to bring an Original Birth Certificate to a registration night for the purpose of age verification.

Players must between the ages of 4 (September 1, 2014 – August 31, 2015) and 12 (Sep 1, 2006 – August 31, 2007).

The division in which players are placed is dependent on their “League Age”. Although skill level, parental wishes and league numbers are taken into consideration, the general ages for each division are as follows: T-Ball Division 4-6* year old’s, Rookie Division 5-6 year old’s, Diamond Division 7-8 year old’s, Vosburgh Division 9-10 year old’s, and Little League Division 11-12. When registering your player, you will select the division based on their league age. Special requests will be reviewed after skills assessment.

*All 4 year old’s must be registered for T-ball. If your child has not previously played T-ball and is 5 or 6 years old then we would encourage you to sign them up to play their first year in T-ball. If your child has previously played T-ball and is 5 or 6 years old then we would encourage you to sign them up for Rookie ball. Exceptions to these recommendations can be made but must be approved by the Homer LL Player Agent (Margaret Lambrecht) and Division Director(s).

The chart below is provided to determine players’ “league age”.

The Homer Little League program would not exist without volunteers and sponsorship’s. Each family will be required to sign up for a volunteer position at registration. Positions include Coach, Assistant Coach, Umpire, Field Prep, Concession Stand, and Team Scorekeeper. All volunteers must complete a volunteer form and a background check is also required.

Things you’ll need before you begin the registration process:

•    Uniform Size – Please know what jersey size you want to order before you begin registration. Youth Sizes: S, M, L, XL and Adult Sizes: S, M, L, XL.

If you still have your player’s uniform from 2018, it might be a good idea to check and see what size was worn last season.

$70.00 for Little League and Vosburgh Division; $60 for Diamond Division; $50 for Rookie Division; $35 for T-ball Division. There is a $5 discount for each additional sibling that signs up to play.

A registration deadline is required in order to prepare for the season. Players need to be placed on teams and time is needed to order uniforms. We greatly appreciate your efforts to complete your registration prior to the deadline so that we are ready for opening day.
